On October 29th, 2025, I’ll be giving a talk over Zoom about the history of fiber arts in the occult. I had researched the subject for a friend’s podcast a few years ago that never got recorded, and I’m going to dig deeper for my talk.
My audience is the Creative Weavers Guild, “a small, but active international fiber art community.” If you want to attend the lecture live, you can join for a single month for $4.95 (I think), or if you’re broke you can get a free 3-day trial. It would be awesome if you paid for the month, though, since they’re nice enough to pay me for my time. Plus, while you’re a member, you’ll get access to the recorded talk if you couldn’t be there live.
The lecture will cover ancient and current magical practices, and how fiber arts showed up in mythologies and cultural traditions around the world. It should be fun.
